Netrokona Medical college is a Government Medical College in Netrokona Sadar conducting MBBS course under Dhaka University. Every year 50 students are admitted in MBBS course.
It was established in 2018 after kind permission of our Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
This college is continuing its academic activities in the temporary campus of Sadar Hospital which is recently renamed as Netrokona Medical College and Hospital and will be shifted to its original campus around Netrokona town by 2024-25 where College and 500 bedded Hospital with attractive and modern facilities will be built in 50 Acres of land.
Netrokona Medical College have strong qualified & dedicated academic team behind our good institutional environment. Present Principal Professor Dr. Shyamal Kumar Paul is the leader of the team.
Concise name of college is NMC. We have different faculties such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Pharmacology Microbiology, Anaesthesiology, Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Orthopaedics Gynaecology& Obstetrics etc.
For better teaching and Learning, we have a library & free WIFI facilities.
